In the middle of Ward's Lake may be a small bridge created to enable the visitors to possess a bird's eye view of the whole lake or feed the small fishes floating around within the water (puffed rice is out there at the doorway of the lake for feeding the fishes). The main highlight of the lake is certainly the paddle boating. The Ward's Lake is known as after the Chief Commissioner of Assam, Sir William Ward, who initiated the development of this lake. Since Ward's Lake is found centrally, you'll easily reach it through any means of local transport such as local Taxi, Buses, etc.
